Friends of the Los Angeles River is a nonprofit organization. Their mission is to protect and restore the natural and historic heritage of the Los Angeles River and its riparian habitat through inclusive planning, education, and wise stewardship.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and in partnership with the President & Founder, the COO will be responsible for the general operations of the organization. This includes financial management, strategic planning, HR & IT, marketing, and grants development. The focus will be on the consistent achievement of the center’s mission and objectives, and building a strong financial foundation for the future.
The compensation package is commensurate with the organization and budget. Relocation costs not budgeted.
