UCP is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and dynamic team player, who has experience working with people with developmental disabilities, to oversee the administration and day-to-day operation of UCP’s Supported Living and Independent Living Services in the San Fernando Valley. The Program Manager provides supervision, training and support to staff working with individuals with developmental disabilities in the individual’s own home and community to enable them to live full and dignified lives. The Program Manager provides oversight and coordinates training and support to meet the goals and objectives of the individuals served, develops, implements, and amends program design as required and approved by the Department of Developmental Services, and acts as liaison between the organization and regional centers, day programs, and other agencies.
Knowledge of, or work in, a Supported Living environment preferred. The qualified candidate must have strong supervisory, communication, organizational, interpersonal, literacy and computer skills. Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid California driver’s license. Must pass drug screening and Department of Justice fingerprint clearance.
