Reporting to the Director of Board Relations and Special Events, the Special Events Coordinator will assist in the planning and execution of the Opera’s events calendar. Primary duties will include creating lists and executing mailings, preparing invitations, coordinating with vendors, processing and tracking invoices and budgets, managing correspondence associated with each event, such as RSVP’s and confirmation calls, as well as general office administrative duties. This position staffs many events throughout the Opera season and is responsible for preparing event materials, distributing signage, managing check-in, and assisting in event oversight.
This position will require flexibility for evening and weekend events, and use of a personal vehicle to get to offsite events.
